Apple has a
useful iPhone Simulator application that allows you to test iPhone
Applications that you create in XCode by simulating the iPhone on your
Computer. At some point, though, you'll want to try out your app on the
real thing. Unfortunately, this takes both time and money. The only way
to test your app on the device itself is to become an Apple Developer,
which requires you to pay a minimum of $99 and to wait up to 24 hours.
If you're up to this, you'll be able to publish your Apps in App Store
and test any App you create on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
